Nestled in the rolling countryside of Chester County and within the historic Borough of Oxford, Pennsylvania lies the new neighborhood of Sycamore Crossing - a cozy, village style neighborhood offering the best of all worlds. Sycamore Crossing draws upon the sensible charms of earlier times when neighbors visited one another, children rode bicycles on the neighborhood sidewalks and families took late night strolls along post lamp lined streets. This feeling is just part of the traditional neighborhood warmth that brothers Victor & Mark Stitz of SAI Builders have brought to Sycamore Crossing. The new homes of Sycamore Crossing come in a wide range of sizes and styles which feature open floor plans, 2 to 5 bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 baths, 2-car garages and/or very special 3rd floor “bonus” rooms. But the first thing you will notice about each Sycamore Crossing home is its solid, classic exterior and delightful front porch; just right for pots of fresh flowers or maybe an old fashioned glider or porch swing. We’ve looked back to a simpler time to create a people-friendly community. Deep backyards offer plenty of room for children to play kickball and the family’s green thumb to plant a luscious vegetable garden. You’ll find the warm, friendly atmosphere unforgettable; the price pleasantly affordable; and the opportunity… one you simply don’t want to miss! We know you’re looking for that special home of your dreams and we hope you’ll find it here at Sycamore Crossing. We’ll be absolutely delighted to assist you with your purchase of a new home in Sycamore Crossing and we promise that the whole experience will be pleasant and most rewarding. Home sales are projected to start up again in the spring of 2009. Be one of the first to choose and reserve your homesite in Sycamore Crossing or The Highlands at Sycamore Crossing!

First Time Buyers >A Realistic Evaluation
Your real estate agent's job is to find you the perfect home, in the right location, with all the amenities you want--and at the right price. It is the home inspector's job to find any skeletons in the closet -- or in the plumbing, wiring, roof, basement and beams.
The inspector won't pass or fail a home based on what he or she finds, but will go over the house thoroughly to help you understand the condition of the property you are buying. If there are any serious problems, your inspector can give you a realistic idea of how much the repairs will cost. If there are material defects that were not reflected in the asking price, you will have the opportunity to re-open negotiations with your sellers before you commit to the purchase. A good inspector will also explain the operation of the basic emergency systems such as the main water cut off valve and the circuit breaker box, and will go over items that will need routine maintenance.
If you are buying a house, we recommend that you make a professional home inspector part of your home purchase team.
